Frequently Asked Questions

  1. What time does your service begin and where are you located? Our Sunday Morning Service begins at 10am and usually runs between 90 minutes to 105 minutes. We are located at 64892 Gratiot Avenue in Lenox Twp, MI (Just south of 30 mile rd.) Our church office hours are Tuesday and Wednesday from 10:00am to 4:00pm est.

  2. Do you live stream any of your services? We do not currently live stream any of our services however, the sermon portion of our services are video recorded and get post on our website later in the week. You can find them under the tab labeled “sermons”.

  3. Is your church apart of a particular denomination? Richmond Christian Church is apart of a global fellowship of churches known as the Assemblies of God (AG). The AG is not a denomination but a cooperative fellowship. For more info on the Assemblies of God visit their website here

  4. What are your services like and what should I expect? We are a small multiracial and multigenerational church that is steadily growing. Our services have a more traditional feel with contemporary elements. We worship to modern contemporary Christian/ Gospel music. Communion is corporately taken on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month. You do not need to be a member of our church to partake in communion you just need to have a relationship with Jesus Christ.

  5. What should I wear if I decided to stop in on a Sunday? Some people come to our services dressed very informal wearing jeans, t-shirt and a hat while others may decide to come a little more dressed up. We leave that choice up to the individual. What ever you feel comfortable wearing is what we want you to wear. There is no pressure or judgement from us.

  6. Is there a service for children and teenagers? Our Children’s Ministry (RC2 Children’s Church) currently takes place on the 2nd and the last Sunday of each month @ 10am during our adult service for ages 5-11. Parents can check their child in at our Childrens Ministry entrance on the SW side of the building off of Gratiot. Check in time starts no earlier than 9:50am. We also provide busy bags for children ages 2-4 to have during service. Busy ages for ages 5-11 are available during service as well on the weeks that RC2 Children’s Church is not taking place. Our Student Ministry (RC2 Students) currently meets on the last Tuesday of each month @ 6:00pm in the Life Center for grades 7th -12th. Students can arrive as early as 5:45pm when the doors open.

  7. Do I have to give an offering as a first time guest? As a first time guest we do not want you to feel pressured to give an offering if you don’t feel led to. That is a decision between you and God. If He leads you to give as a guest then feel free to do so but there is no pressure from us.

  8. What are your churches guidelines in regards to COVID-19? Mask and social distancing are no longer required, however, we strongly encourage anyone who is sick and may be experiencing any symptoms to stay home and watch our live stream.
